June 6, 2008

Salve Regina University, Newport, RI

Program Title:  Is there a Consolidation in Your Libraryís Future?

Description for program brochure:

Thomas Hennen knows a bit about library consolidation possibilities.  His federated library system has been the target of such plans.  He has consulted with libraries in Iowa, Missouri, and elsewhere on the issue.  His October 2005 article in American Libraries magazine has elicited much discussion in the library world.  If the consolidation issue concerns you, attend this program.  Hennen wonít lay all your hopes and fears to rest, but he will arm you with that most potent of librarian weapons; information on the issue.
